
The Santander Book Fair 2022 will be held from July 1st to 10th

The Santander Book Fair (FELISA) will bring together 16 bookstores and 36 guest authors in the capital’s Plaza Porticada.
The Santander and Cantabria Book Fair 2022 (FELISA) will be held from July 1 to 10 in the Plaza Porticada with the promotion of reading and support for the book sector as the main objectives. It is the 41st edition totally renewed in content and initiatives, which will bring together 16 bookstores and 36 guest authors, 13 of them from Cantabria.
Among the outstanding authors are Laura Restrepo, Belén Gopegui, Nieves Concostrina, Pilar del Rio, Kirmen Uribe, Miguel Dalmau and Héctor Abad Faciolince, among others. In addition, there will be a dozen activities for children to introduce them to the world of books.
July 4 and 7, highlights
In this edition of the fair, a tribute will be paid on July 7 to Óscar Muñiz, founder of the Nexus-4 bookstore in Santander, a reference in the world of comics and graphic novels, who died last year. An act that will highlight the collaboration of the author for the promotion and development of the Santander Book Fair.
On the other hand, as in previous editions, on July 4 will be present the winners of the literary and graphic novel awards organized by the Government of Cantabria. These authors will present their works conceived with the collaboration of the Ministry of Culture and publishers in the region.
The Santander and Cantabria Book Fair will have a literary cafe with presentations of the close format in a schedule that will last until half past 10 at night and will be accompanied by an intensely musical and scenic program, with concerts throughout the days that will feature the participation of 32 musical performers and 6 actors in 9 evening shows, two of them produced specifically for this edition.
