
The Madrid Book Fair 2023 embraces #BookTok

During the Madrid Book Fair, TikTok aims to foster the spirit of discovery and create opportunities for authors, publishers, and readers to connect around a passion for literature.
TikTok has joined Madrid Book Fair 2023 in an unprecedented collaboration to celebrate literature and raise awareness of the #BookTok community to all visitors, a phenomenon that has transcended the boundaries of the platform, becoming an authentic cultural movement.
During the Madrid Book Fair, TikTok aims to foster the spirit of discovery and create opportunities for authors, publishers, and readers to connect around a passion for literature.
From May 26 to June 11, attendees will be able to enter the space dedicated to literature in TikTok where they will have the chance to explore the wonderful world of books through #BookTok, discovering those books that have achieved special popularity in the community.
TikTok will have its own booth at the fair, which will become a meeting point for some of the most recognized #BookTok creators, such as @josudiamond, @andreorowling, @filologalectora, or @patriciafedz. They will be present in the TikTok space creating content, sharing impressions, and connecting with renowned @penguinlibros writers such as Joel Dicker, Joana Marcús, Javier Castillo, or Noemí Casquet.
As part of this exciting initiative, TikTok’s global community of more than one billion people will have the opportunity to enjoy the Madrid Book Fair virtually through the #BookTok booth in the app. In this digital space, a door will open to the Book Fair, and the community will be able to access exclusive content from the writers of the moment and book signings. Users will also be able to discover in this space a literary recommendation by voting for the place in Madrid where their own novel would take place.
