LIBER promotes a contest to choose its graphic image in 2023
The winning illustration of the contest, whose creator will receive another 1,600 euros, will be announced on April 14 after the jury’s decision.
LIBER, International Book Fair, organized by IFEMA MADRID and the Federation of Publishers’ Guilds of Spain (FGEE), which will be held from October 4 to 6 this year, announces its illustration contest to select the graphic image for its 2023 edition. The deadline for submitting proposals is March 6.
The call for entries is open to anyone of legal age residing in Spain. Participants must submit a dossier including a maximum of five original creations, from which a jury made up of professionals will select three finalists. The decision will be made public on March 20 and each of those chosen will receive a prize of 600 euros.
During the second stage of the competition, each of the finalists will be asked to develop an original and unpublished illustration, with free content, that revolves around books and/or reading. The attractiveness and contemporaneity of the creations will be valued, in addition to the fact that they highlight the promotion of reading.
The winning illustration of the contest, whose creator will receive another 1,600 euros, will be announced on April 14 after the jury’s decision. From that moment on, the new image will be used in all promotional media of LIBER 2023 (posters and banners; hand plan and catalog of the fair, posters, press releases, and newsletters, social networks).
LIBER, International Book Fair, returns to Madrid to celebrate its 40th edition between 4 and 6 October, becoming the largest meeting of the book in Spanish, with the ability to offer business opportunities to major publishing companies and boost the market.
