Frankfurt International Translators call for applications open

Those interested in participating in the Frankfurt International Translators can apply until April 30.
The Frankfurt Book Fair, which this year celebrates its 75th edition from October 18-22, is now accepting applications for the Frankfurt International Translators, which offers a program specially tailored for literary and non-fiction translators. Interested applicants can apply until April 30.
Up to 15 translators from around the world will be selected by the fair to participate in an exclusive exchange and networking program. With financial support from the Federal Foreign Office, the fair will cover travel expenses, accommodation in Germany, and a portion of living expenses.
Selected translators are also guaranteed participation in selected seminars and events, will participate in networking with publishers, authors, and cultural institutions, and are guaranteed entry to the fair’s Opening Ceremony and the Guest of Honor Pavilion, which this year is Slovenia.
